With much at stake I agreed for my little girl, Libby, to ride the Titan! She is only 8 and barely made the mark when she was measured for her height. I was so nervous and scared! BUT I did not let her know that because she was so excited to FINALLY ride the big roller-coaster. So we climb, and climb, and climb; then we came to a stop. I grabbed Libby’s belt hoop tight to make sure I had a hold of her, as if that was going to safe her if she did come off her seat, but a mother’s instinct never fails!! LOL Down we went and all I could hear is her screaming, “Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! I almost cried but instead I laughed to make her laugh. She kept pushing herself down from her seat and I kept pulling her up! The ride seemed for ever! Her face flapping like a sky diver’s face would in mid-air! LOL I asked her if she would ride it again! Immediately said, NO! LOL She’s very petite and I can imagine how much she struggled to get through that ride. I mean even on the log ride she seemed as if she was really scared of the fall! LOL
My husband and my boy wanted to ride another roller-coaster and again, mother’s instinct said it was not a good idea. So, I told them they can go ahead if they want, me and Libby will wait right here. While in line, 10 or so minutes later, the entire park lost power! People hanging from roller-coasters, water rides, and other rides! I was thankful that we were not riding any rides at that time! Never mess with mother’s instincts’ – it never fails! LOL
