I’m here but no one notices me
You don’t want me
I knock at your door and no one opens it, I know your there
You hear me, but you are not listening
You do what you want, instead of what I’m asking you to do
I give you gifts that you don’t appreciate
I give you strength and still you try to use your own
I plant a seed in you, but you don’t water it
It’s dry with no fruit
You judge others when you are not here to judge
You kill innocent people then you kill yourself for the price you pay will be death
You take from the innocent when you should give more of yourself
You give up when you should prove to the world that you have as much right as they do to go to church, no matter what they say or think of you
Nothing you go through compares to what I went through on earth. No matter what they say continue your walk, listen to my father, preach the gospel, go to church, love ALL despite of what was said or done! For I have asked my father, “Forgive them, for they do not know what they do!” finish your walk, your journey and leave a legacy of hope, courage, strength, faith, belief and love much love for the weak.
There is no limit to what you can do with your hands
There is no wrong way to praise me
There is no wrong way to worship me
There is no wrong way to love me
There is no wrong way to feel my spirit, move in my spirit and speak in my spirit
Some will criticize
Some will be jealous
Some will make fun
Don’t worry if you fall, get up, get the dirt off your knees and continue with your head up high
Some will do whatever they can to take you away from me
It’s up to you if you want to continue your walk with me, your journey with me and your legacy with me.
Love one another as I have loved each and everyone one of you. Live in Peace for I am here with you always and forever amen..

HONOR

We all take time to pray and honor our military, how they sacrifice their lives for our country and most importantly their family. I would like to take the time and pray and honor our Ministers, Preachers, Pastors, Leader’s in Christ who also sacrifice their lives to save the lost. To those who devote their lives to make a change, to those who have lost their lives in the line of duty by expressing the love of our Father, being more valuable than anything this world can ever offer. To those who put God first and family second and the world last! I pray and thank all who have saved a lost soul. The Angels sing and rejoice. I know that with all the trials and tribulations we go through, the love of God and his strength is what gives us courage, hope, security, peace and wisdom to go on and do his will!
I pray for the head of your home, without love there is no respect; without respect there is no love; without God there is no hope, without hope there is no peace, without peace there is no love.
As I was writing my thoughts this morning I thought of Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus in Ephesians 3…
1 For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles— 2 if indeed you have heard of the stewardship of God’s grace which was given to me for you; 3 that by revelation there was made known to me the mystery, as I wrote before in brief. 4 [a]By referring to this, when you read you can understand my insight [b]into the mystery of Christ, 5 which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets [c]in the Spirit; 6 to be specific, that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel, 7 of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of God’s grace which was given to me according to the working of His power. 8 To me, the very least of all [d]saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ, 9 and to [e]bring to light what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God who created all things; 10 so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places. 11 This was in accordance with the [f]eternal purpose which He [g]carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord, 12 in whom we have boldness and [h]confident access through faith [i]in Him. 13 Therefore I ask [j]you not to lose heart at my tribulations on your behalf, [k]for they are your glory.

20 Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, 21 to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations [n]forever and ever. Amen.
Thank you Lord for your word this morning and thank you for your faithful leaders like Paul and Job; and so many others that have changed lives and keep changing lives through their testimonies. How they inspire us and give us hope for a better tomorrow. May God Bless’ us all and use us according to his plan.

DRUGS

It’s not just a pill to kill pain it’s an addiction to some to pass time. It can be dangerous to you and your loved ones. Although I never touched them, I was around them. Not necessarily at home but among friends. Trying to fit in with groups at school was never my thing. I never dressed in the current style, sometimes I would see girls dressed alike and how excited they would get. They would talk about where they got their clothes and how much they paid for them. They would see me, roll their eyes and walk away. I didn’t have a big crowd of friends during my school years. I went to school did what I had to do and went home. On the weekend, I would help my mom around the house. Sunday, was my day. I would go to church and even there, I didn’t have many friends. Some criticized me, some would tell me what to wear, what I’m doing wrong, who I should ask for a ride to church and who I should hang around with and stay away from. I did what my heart told me to do. Some decisions where painful, but they were my decisions, I learned from them and moved on.

One day I was invited to a party. My first party ever, not knowing what I was getting into. I walked in and drugs everywhere, alcohol, couples kissing and all kinds of things I wasn’t used to. This person, who I thought was my friend, was trying to fit in with the wrong crowd. She didn’t let me go home, she thought I would tell and get all of them into trouble. I told her, “I won’t go but I won’t do what you are doing either” Her boyfriend locked me in their bathroom with a strip of cocaine on the sink. He then was screaming from the other side of the door, ‘we are not letting you out until you take that!’ I could hear everyone laughing. It was a horrible experience, the kind that you never forget and the kind you wish you could. It’s then when you learn who your real friends are.
The reason I share this with you is because I saw several lives lost due to drugs. Innocent people paid the price for someone else’s selfishness. Even now, we still see family struggling with their teenagers making the wrong decisions and doing what they want! You can only do so much to help, sometimes they don’t want your help, but as a parent you do it anyway because it’s your job and you want the best for your child. Some listen, some don’t!
A loved one passed on, a baby girl, because the people responsible for her were doing drugs and got lost in them. A friend went to jail, defending herself from an ex-boyfriend who did drugs. When she went before the judge the next morning, he read her case, shook his head and said, “Unbelievable” and dismissed the charges. The one that should have gone to jail was him, but since she threw the first punch, they took her, the victim!
These are only two examples. TONS of innocent lives are lost do to drugs every day. Drugs are still a big way for teens, and some adults, to use to pass time and / or to escape all responsibilities. But the reality of it all is it makes you do things that cannot be control under the influence, and hurt others in the process plus it can hunt you for years!

To the day I hear stories of friends still terrified that their pass would come hunt them down. A friend recently heard that a family member is dating an ex-boyfriend who is friends with her ex, who did drugs. Back when she learned he was involved in drugs, she wanted nothing to do with him. He stalk her, he would break into her house and tried to run her off the road. He doesn’t know where she lives now, but with her family member dating a friend of his, she’s afraid that soon will change.
Then you have people who have innocent children in their homes while doing the drug, and what’s worse, it’s not even their child, they are babysitting them! When my friend found out her child was in a home where they did drugs, she was terrified and upset! The sad part is, they were family members and thought nothing was wrong with it.
Innocent lives shouldn’t have to pay the consequences! We live in a society where if you warn someone, like a case worker or a police officer about a drug problem, they don’t do anything unless someone gets hurt, and I’m sure they are just following rules or some sort of policy. To think a child is better off with their parents without taking into consideration their selfish drug addiction status and go by the book instead of going by a family member who knows best, is murder!! And all they can say is, “oh I didn’t know”
We have become a very selfish society…and it’s showing through our kids! We become afraid of our own words, our own beliefs, our own abilities to raise a child; because we are scared to hurt their feelings? I refuse to allow my child to be disrespectful to an adult, to fall into the statistics and will not turn a blind eye when they are doing something wrong. So many parents say “well there just kids, what could I have done?”Hello? Did we forget discipline who is the parent here? We are so afraid to punish a child today with the fear of someone reporting it as abuse! There is a difference, and we have forgotten what that is!! Don’t just say “ok” and go on. Do something about it! We are talking about our next generation, what will the world become if we don’t do what’s right!
A friend said, “People like that don’t “need” Jesus; they are content with what they are doing. We’re better off trying to help those that have a chance than those that have such hardened hearts there’s no breaking through. When you bring up Jesus to them they try to throw scripture at you about “judging” or “God said to eat from the earth and pot is grown from the earth so we are using God’s herbs”….They use the bible only to justify what they do but not to live by.”
And guess what? That’s exactly what the devil wants you to think. That’s what he does and he is building his own army! God put us on earth to honor him and save lives, to build his army! To prove to Satan that we the people can come together in the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ and fight!
If they have heard the name of Jesus and they don’t want to listen, then they have no chance for eternal life. But at least we did our job. If we can’t do it ourselves, it takes a certain type, to be at the wrong place at the right time, and if it’s not you, God will send an angel of his to fight for that life! We are to pray and ask God to send someone to go talk to them. Some will listen, some will not but at least we’ve done our job.

As a family here on earth we treasure our loved ones and fight for their well been. We are a family in God’s eyes and will be a family in his home and he treasures his loved ones, us! Why not treasure those who need us, our past experiences are to be used as a tool to inspire someone else and give hope. Treat everyone as a family, be friendly and bring them to Jesus.
Each time a new soul is born into the Kingdom of God, it’s almost like the birth of a child. Although the baby is delivered sometimes in pain, afterward the pain is forgotten in the delight of a new soul born into this World!–And the same joy, only greater, is experienced at the birth of a new spirit into the Kingdom of God! One saved soul makes all Heaven rejoice, and is certainly sufficient payment for all the hard work and sacrifices and a few little hard trials and tribulations that we may go through.
All Heaven rejoices and all the Angels rejoice more over one lost sheep that’s found, each soul saved, than over all the ninety-and-nine and all the rest who are already saved and rescued! (Lk.15:7)

If the Angels of Heaven rejoice over every soul that’s saved, they certainly must also rejoice over our obedience to God and our service for the Lord! When your time of reward and recognition comes, are the Heavens and the Angels of God going to jump for joy over your faithfulness and your diligent service for the Lord and your sacrificial giving?

Let’s come together as one and start living in the fear of the Lord and let the armor of the Lord be our shield…

Amazing Prayer

Praying in the morning is nice, but praying in the afternoons (after work) can really be challenging. It’s hard to open your mouth and speak to the Lord after a long hard day! So, I decided to take that challenge and please the Lord. When we do things His way, it’s amazing the blessings and love He pours down on us. You start noticing how your attitude changes for the rest of your day. And, it re-energizes your thoughts towards life.
It is nice to get up in the morning, start a new day, thanking the Lord for another day. But, it is also hard going through the day not knowing what to expect from it. So, it’s important to start you’re day with the Lord as much as ending your day with the Lord.
Sometimes your day will feel unbearable in your eyes, but when we come to his presence with all that anger, frustration, sadness, weaknesses and despair; he makes it all go away, and at the end he makes it all worthwhile because He is the first and last you will seek for comfort that day.
Prayer IS a powerful thing. He may not answer your prayer in the way you expected, but he does answer your prayer in a way He knows it is best for us. You can doubt yourself, you can doubt your job, you can doubt your friends, you can even doubt your family; but you can never doubt Him. He will never leave us or forsake us. His love and peace is overwhelming. . .

FREEDOM IS UP TO US

My sister, Liz and I went to San Antonio looking forward to getting something out of Joyce Meyers’ teaching. It was my first time to see her live. So, I was really excited to be part of this experience. What’s ironic, although I loved Joyce’s teaching and took lots of notes; and plan to right something about it later, I want to share with you what her husband, David Meyers, talked about. Now, keep in mind that American History was NEVER my thing in school. I’ve always managed to pass that class but never really understood it or could remember any important dates or names! Well, I wish now I’d paid attention!! The only note I took was this phrase, “It’s not about politics but of patriotism! The first thing that came to mind was the movie Patriots! Well, having that in mind helped me just enough to understand what David was trying to get across. It’s time we stand for what we believe in! It’s time for us to stand and take back our land! It’s time for us to fight for what is ours!! For what has been taken from us!!
Over 200 years ago our founding fathers of the U.S.A shook off the chains of tyranny from Great Britain by divine call. Citing 27 biblical violations they wrote the Declaration of Independence with liberty and justice for all.
But something happened since Jefferson called the Bible the cornerstone for American Liberty then put it in our schools as a light. Or since “Give me liberty, or give me death,” Patrick Henry said our country was founded on the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We eliminated God from the equation of American life. Thus eliminating the reason this nation first began from beyond the grave I hear the voices of our founding fathers plead you need God in America Again.
I heard this before! As you recall one of my previous BLOG, “On the Road Again” Carman couldn’t have said it better!!
It took just one person to convince the world to take prayer out of schools. Since then the percentage of violence and wrong considered right have gone up tremendously! God is being taken out of the picture COMPLETELY. It’s time for us to fill our mind with much knowledge; to know the history of our country, to stand firm in the Word of God if we want to make a change for the better
James Madison said, “We staked our future on our ability to follow the Ten Commandments with all our heart” These men believed you couldn’t even call yourself an American if you subvert the Word of God. In his farewell address, Washington said, “You can’t have national morality apart from religious principle,” and it’s true. .
Now, the Ten Commandments do not exists or allowed to be followed in many places. Joyce mentioned how her grand-daughter said, “God bless you” to another student that sneezed and was told she could not say “God”
We need God in America again and it will take US, the people to make a difference. Our United States Constitution states, “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America!! “God bless you” don’t let ANYBODY say you cannot say “GOD” It’s our constitutional rights!!
I guess something did stick to my thick-head during those years in History class!! LOL
Joyce said, “In us and through us” we want God to bless us but with that blessing we need to bless others in order to make a difference..
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!! I hope you were blessed and that you will bless others…GOD BLESS AMERICA!

A DAY AT THE PARK

With much at stake I agreed for my little girl, Libby, to ride the Titan! She is only 8 and barely made the mark when she was measured for her height. I was so nervous and scared! BUT I did not let her know that because she was so excited to FINALLY ride the big roller-coaster. So we climb, and climb, and climb; then we came to a stop. I grabbed Libby’s belt hoop tight to make sure I had a hold of her, as if that was going to safe her if she did come off her seat, but a mother’s instinct never fails!! LOL Down we went and all I could hear is her screaming, “Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! I almost cried but instead I laughed to make her laugh. She kept pushing herself down from her seat and I kept pulling her up! The ride seemed for ever! Her face flapping like a sky diver’s face would in mid-air! LOL I asked her if she would ride it again! Immediately said, NO! LOL She’s very petite and I can imagine how much she struggled to get through that ride. I mean even on the log ride she seemed as if she was really scared of the fall! LOL

 MOMMY!

My husband and my boy wanted to ride another roller-coaster and again, mother’s instinct said it was not a good idea. So, I told them they can go ahead if they want, me and Libby will wait right here. While in line, 10 or so minutes later, the entire park lost power! People hanging from roller-coasters, water rides, and other rides! I was thankful that we were not riding any rides at that time! Never mess with mother’s instincts’ – it never fails! LOL

MIRACLE ON CT 2173 RD

JAMES 1:27 Religion that God accepts is this: caring for orphans or widows who need help; and keeping yourself free from the world’s evil influence. This is the kind of religion that God accepts as pure and good.

Yesterday, March 12 2009 a friend told me a story that just brought chills to my whole body. Her husband, Ray, came in around 6:00 am after feeding and said, ‘some idiot is stuck at the end of our road!’ Debora told him he should help them. But Ray’s intention was to leave them there. He hesitated but after about 5 minutes he thought about it… and said, ‘you think I should go see if they need help?’ Debora said, ‘my guts tell me you should. So, he did… It turned out to be a woman in her 80’s who said she had just come from church; on a Thursday? Could she have driven all night after a Wednesday night service?

She told Ray that a nice looking man had just left and told her he would send her help. Ray asked what the man look like and she described him to be a very nice man, nice tan, and long brown hair. Debora suggested to Ray to call the police as her story did not add up as she was from Pleasant Grove. What was she doing in Greenville TX? She was a long way from home and they were concerned that she might be a missing elderly person. Just to tell you a little bit of the area where Ray saw the stranded car, it’s very private, and no one is around for miles.

Ray heated up some food for her and she must have been starving as she ate 5 slices of pizza and 2 pieces of bread. When the police arrived they too were concerned as she tells them about this man who said he would send help. The officer looked around and noticed there were no other set of footprints to validate another person being present. Now, what does that remind you of? That’s right God’s footprints in the sand…The police took her with them to find a family member. Meanwhile her car still remains at Debora’s house…

Is that an amazing story or what? That is the kind of stories I need and love to hear in my life to know that God IS and ALWAYS will be with us! I love to hear of his miracles in this world we live in. It’s a sign that He is here and His miracles still do happened on this earth.

Angels of God can feel when someone is in trouble and Debora and Ray are definitely Angels of God who came to the rescue and saved this sweet little 80 year old woman’s life…May we all learn from this and care for others. As the book James explains, ‘This is the kind of religion that God accepts as pure and good…’ God bless

The Sacrifice

It couldn’t have arrived any sooner. I was so looking forward to this weekend, getting out and enjoying God’s beautiful green earth with a group of beautiful Christian ladies, at a women’s retreat. I want to share with you an experience like no other! We all need some encouragement in our lives. And, BOY did I need some on the next activity we had planned. Are you ready for this?? ZIP LINE!! That’s right, at my age; I couldn’t believe I agreed to do this!! What we do for family and friends! As I put on my harness and my helmet! I looked up and the whole thing (tower) moved side by side every time it sent a team down the line. I swallowed a gulp of saliva as the professional checked to make sure everything was tight and secure. As I climbed up, half way through the tower, I froze…

Meanwhile my sister-in-law, Suzanne was already up top waiting for me. The professional kept telling her to sit down and relax and she said, ‘no, I can’t sit!’ She was waiting for me to get up there or she was going to change her mind, and QUICK!! I looked up and saw the professional waving at me to keep going. So, while I looked down at how much I HAD climbed and how much more I needed to, I was wondering what would be easier to go back down and forget about all of this or keep going up!.
As I continued to climb up I thought about the tower of Babel, you know how tall it was, ok I’m exaggerating, but I did start speaking in another language! I was so ready to give up!

I finally made it to the top and the look of my sister-in-law’s face!! O-MY “priceless” LOL – we were both looking at each other CRAZY!! Like we really didn’t say it but I’m pretty sure we were both thinking it, “What are we doing up here!!”

Although the view was beautiful, I couldn’t really enjoy it, because I was still in shock mode! I slowly sat down and a rush like I’ve never experienced ran through my body, the breeze was choking me and I couldn’t feel my FEET!! I turned back and saw two more ladies waiting their turn they looked scared too. One of them said to me, ‘don’t look at me, I’m scared too, turn around! LOL

As the professional explained the safety rules I kept interrupting her asking her to please push me because I feel like I was glued down. She politely said she could not do that. As she talked I begged her to push me! The time came to hook the rope to the harness and the wire. I closed my eyes, tight. I sat there waiting for the word, GO!

Ladies down below were cheering us on!! As Kaitlin, video taped us! LOL….GO! Off we went!! I never opened my eyes and the funny part was I know I was screaming but I couldn’t hear myself. I peeked to see at Suzanne and I could hear her screaming. Then I closed my eyes again! Open, close, open, close!! LOL

WE MADE IT! As we approached the end of the line several times, swinging back and forth another professional pulls the tall stairs close to my feet and asked to climb all the way up top so he could un-hook me. He asked if there were any signs of heart failure, knee problems, and / or joint problems in the family. I was like, ‘why is he asking that?’ Any who I said, ‘I don’t think so.’
Well, as soon as he un-hooked me my feet were like jell-o!! I felt like I was walking on air with my legs swirling all over the place! I could hardly breathe and my bottom was sore! It was an experience I will never forget.
As we walked back to the tower and shared our experiences. One of the ladies said something that made me think of how true it was. She said, ‘the hardest part was letting go’ Now, isn’t that how life is; hard to let go?? Letting go of fear, worries; how it makes our body tired, sore and not able to breathe… And then, she proceeded to say, ‘but once you let go, everything is ok…’ Life does go on… And so, as you walk through your journey remember the hardest part of life is letting go but once you do….everything is ok, and if it is not, it will be… just ‘Offer right sacrifices and trust in the LORD’…Psalm 4:5

Oh, I was asked to do it again. I said, “uh NO!” LOL
